  • Loss of productivity. Back pain and neck pain are the most prevalent causes of disability in working adults.
  • Nerve damage. If your neck pain is due to herniated disk, pressure on the spinal nerves may cause various problems, such as numbness, weakness, or severe shooting pain that radiates from the neck to back down to the leg.
